You don’t need another freight broker course. You need the business, sales system, and support to execute it.
The Freight Broker Business-in-a-Box™ is training, technology, shipper acquisition systems, business infrastructure, staffing support, and implementation, sold as one offer.
This is professional business infrastructure, not a make-money-from-home program. We guarantee implementation, not income.
I did not enter freight brokerage with an established transportation company, a large network of shippers, or a ready-made sales system.
I started learning the business before I was even released from prison after serving nearly 15 years. While I was preparing for release, I bought a book on how to start a freight brokerage and studied whatever material I could get access to. One of my instructors even helped me by printing information from the internet so I could keep learning and preparing.
After I came home, I kept investing in my education. I purchased a popular entry-level freight broker course, bought additional books and resources, and later invested several thousand dollars into more advanced freight brokerage training programs.
The education helped. It taught me the terminology, the basic structure of the business, how brokerage authority worked, how to set up a company, and how freight moved. But there was still a major gap. Knowing how freight brokerage worked was very different from knowing how to actually build a successful freight brokerage.
I still had to figure out the same questions a lot of new brokers eventually run into:
And how do I build systems around the business so everything does not depend on me remembering what to do next?
I started working through those problems while rebuilding my life from a transitional home in Los Angeles. What followed was years of real-world trial and error, selling, prospecting, building relationships, developing systems, hiring, training, and operating transportation businesses.
In 2021, I launched Assured Logistics. The freight brokerage grew to approximately $2 million in revenue during its first nine months. Since then, my experience in transportation has expanded across freight brokerage, trucking operations, dispatch, owner-operator recruiting, transportation sales, compliance, team development, and training.
Information is important. Implementation is what turns information into a business.
That experience became the foundation for the Assured Training System: Freight Broker Business in a Box. I built this program for the person I once was: someone serious about building a freight brokerage who does not want to spend months collecting disconnected information and then be left alone trying to figure out how all the pieces fit together.
Instead of stopping at education, Business in a Box helps clients build the infrastructure around the brokerage. That includes freight broker training, shipper prospecting, sales processes, scripts, CRM systems, pipeline management, follow-up workflows, technology, website infrastructure, and hands-on implementation support.
The goal is not to promise that building a freight brokerage will be easy. You still have to prospect, communicate, build relationships, learn your market, follow up, and execute consistently. The goal is to shorten the distance between learning what a freight broker does and having the systems in place to actually operate the business.
I spent years learning that difference firsthand. Business in a Box was built so you do not have to start from a blank screen and figure out every piece by yourself.
We are not selling 40 hours of freight broker videos. We are selling progressively higher levels of a real freight brokerage: training, systems, technology, equipment, branding, prospecting, and implementation support.
That is the real reason most people never get a brokerage off the ground, not a lack of information.
Freight broker education is everywhere. What is missing is everything that has to exist around it: the authority and the entity, the website and the phone system, a list of shippers worth calling, the words to use when they answer, and a pipeline that tells you who to follow up with tomorrow.
Assured Training Academy builds that infrastructure around you, then coaches you through operating it.
You operate the brokerage. We build the business infrastructure around you and support the implementation.
Every tier is built from the same four systems. What changes between tiers is how much of each one we build with you, or for you.
Verified shipper prospects, segmented to your target industries, geography and equipment, loaded into your CRM with the scripts and daily prospecting routine to work them.
The Freight Growth OS CRM: sales pipeline, contact management, opportunity tracking, email and SMS automation, forms, calendars, call tracking and reporting.
Business formation, authority guidance, BOC-3 and bond coordination, carrier sourcing, onboarding workflows and the SOP library that keeps the brokerage running consistently.
The Masterclass, 16 weeks of live group coaching, private strategy sessions, and implementation support until the infrastructure under our control is installed.
You should be able to look around your office, open your laptop, log into your systems, see your company logo, see your website, see your shipper prospects, and say: “this is my business.”
Freight Broker Masterclass, operations training, prospecting and cold calling, quoting, carrier sourcing, objection handling, and 16 weeks of live group coaching.
Freight Growth OS CRM, sales pipeline, email and SMS automation, forms, calendars, call tracking infrastructure, reporting dashboard and reputation workflows.
Done-for-you brokerage website, company logo and digital logo files, domain and business email setup, contact and quote-request forms.
From 1,000 to 10,000 verified shipper prospects depending on tier, imported into your CRM with segmentation and freight-specific targeting.
Cold call, email, follow-up and objection-handling scripts, the daily prospecting routine, KPI scorecard, SOP library and a 30/60/90-day launch roadmap.
A brand-new laptop, desk, office chair, wireless mouse and freight sales headset, plus business cards, branded pens, company shirt and mug.
An AI Receptionist, Shipper Follow-Up Assistant, Appointment Setter, Lead Nurture, Reactivation and Reputation assistants, configured for your brokerage, by tier.
Business Credit Builder Program, funding mentoring and coaching, a business-credit roadmap and funding-readiness guidance.
Free VA recruitment and placement: candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination and hiring guidance. VA wages are paid directly by you.
Each tier answers a different sentence from the buyer. Every step up removes more work from your plate, not just more bonuses.
Here’s the machine. We’ll teach you how to drive it. We give you the business, systems, equipment, training, prospects, and support. You execute.
We’ll build the machine with you. Tier 1 gives you the system; Tier 2 helps build significantly more of the company with you.
We’ll build the machine, put it in your office, staff it, load it with technology and prospects, and help you launch it.

Results are not guaranteed. Freight broker outcomes depend on licensing, compliance, sales activity, shipper and carrier relationships, freight availability, market conditions, operating expenses, and business management. Government filing fees, bond premiums, insurance premiums, third-party software and VA wages are separate. Every business involves risk.

Business in a Box is a 16-week implementation program. Because enrollment is ongoing, the live training is not taught in a fixed Week 1 through Week 16 sequence. These phases are the milestones you work through, while the weekly live sessions rotate across the curriculum.
Every client starts from a different place. We assess your current business and authority status, your transportation and sales experience, your target market, your existing technology, and your current prospects and sales activity.
Milestone: A clear starting point, a personalized list of priorities, and access to the training platform.
The business and industry foundation behind good decisions later: how brokerage fits the transportation ecosystem, the roles of shippers, carriers and dispatchers, freight and equipment types, core DOT and FMCSA concepts, your operating structure, and CRM, TMS and load-board fundamentals.
Milestone: You understand what the brokerage must do, what tools support it, and how the major pieces connect.
New brokers waste time trying to sell to everybody. You select industries, commodities, equipment and geography, build an Ideal Customer Profile, identify the real decision-makers, and develop a value proposition worth a shipper's time.
Milestone: You know who you are targeting, why they fit, who to reach, and what value you bring.
Research turns into activity: cold calling and gatekeeper strategy, cold email and multi-touch sequences, LinkedIn prospecting, lead sourcing through databases and directories, list building and verification, deliverability, and daily prospecting expectations.
Milestone: A repeatable process for finding qualified shippers instead of waiting for business to appear.
What to do when somebody answers: discovery, understanding pain points before pitching, handling the common objections, following up without becoming pushy, recognizing buying signals, negotiating rates, and closing for the next logical commitment.
Milestone: You are managing a sales pipeline and know what needs to happen next with each prospect.
The practical load lifecycle: written customer confirmation, researching market rates and building quotes, posting loads, negotiating with carriers while protecting margin, carrier vetting and fraud prevention, rate confirmations, tracking, documentation, and invoicing.
Milestone: You understand the full movement of a load from opportunity to execution, documentation and payment.
A brokerage can win freight and still lose money if risk is ignored. Carrier fraud indicators and Do Not Use controls, customer credit and collection risk, insurance considerations, documentation standards, communication milestones, and response protocols for delays and service failures.
Milestone: You know how to reduce preventable risk, communicate through problems, and protect customer trust.
Turning individual effort into a repeatable business: a daily and weekly operating rhythm, clear KPIs, account management and retention, marketing beyond cold outreach, CRM automation, SOPs that can be delegated, and financial planning.
Milestone: A repeatable operating framework for continuing after the program ends.
Rafael or another Assured instructor meets with the group live once each week. Because clients enroll on an ongoing basis, the live topic rotates based on the curriculum, the current needs of the group, and real situations happening in the business. One session may focus on gatekeepers and cold calls, another on CRM and pipeline management, another on carrier vetting, quoting, risk management or a real freight scenario.
You do not need to wait for a specific week to benefit. The on-demand Assured Training Academy gives you the underlying education, including 26 structured lessons and more than 16 hours of transportation business development and freight sales training, while the live sessions give you coaching, role-play, troubleshooting and feedback.
The goal is not to promise a certain income or pretend that freight brokerage requires no work. You still have to make the calls, build relationships, follow up, learn your market, and execute consistently.
If you complete your required onboarding items on time, Assured commits that everything under our control (CRM, website, workflows, prospect database, scripts and the agreed launch infrastructure) will be installed on schedule. If it is not, support continues at no additional coaching or implementation fee until those deliverables are complete.
What the guarantee does not cover. FMCSA timing, third-party software approvals, financing, bonds and licences are outside Assured’s control and are excluded. This is a guarantee that the work we control gets done. It is not a guarantee of revenue, loads, shippers, carriers, profit or business results.
Hear it from the people who have been through it, in their own words.
